Job summary

TD2 International is seeking a Research Associate III - In Vitro Pharmacology in Scottsdale to lead tissue culture activities and execute cell-based assays. You will collaborate with Vivarium staff to support in vivo pharmacology experiments and contribute to protocol planning, ensuring timely study objectives are met.

The role requires strong attention to detail, independent execution of in vitro tasks, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years direct in vitro pharmacology experience or 6 years direct cell culture experience with no degree required.
• Experience in tissue culture techniques and other in vitro cell based assays is required.
• Immunology assays experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tissue culture activities including thawing, passaging, and general cell culture tasks.
• Develop and troubleshoot new and existing assays, procedures, and cell lines in collaboration with vendors.
• Assist lab management in daily activities, ensuring reagents and media availability and quality standards.
• Oversee the quality and integrity of tissue culture banks.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior team members.
• Execute additional lab techniques such as Flow cytometry, Western blots, ELISA, qPCR as needed.
• Create and maintain laboratory records and documentation.
• Collect and assess data independently and share results with management.
• Participate in weekly lab meetings to discuss progress and future studies.
• Ensure equipment is operational and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Perform general laboratory duties and assist in other lab tasks as assigned.
