Responsibilities
- Support the E/// in-building program as the Construction Manager.
- Accountable for all Civil Works and related financial control via Scheduling (time), SP/ASP, and Quality Management on the project.
- Ensure Service Providers adhere to Ericsson standards, processes, procedures, and all Federal and Local standards.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- External Interfaces: ASP/SP; Internal Interfaces: IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, CPM.
- Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
- Ensure that only Customer-approved materials are installed on the project.
- Ensure Civil Works guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings; provide on-site supervision where risk of disturbances is high.
- Maintain a safe working environment; perform safety inspections and ensure tools are in good condition.
- Civil Works problem solving as required during the project.
- Coordinate site activities and ensure all disciplines involved are aligned with the project goals.
- Drive schedule activities and troubleshoot results.
- Ensure service providers and vendors meet all technical specifications with respect to E/// and customer specifications.
- Ensure workmanship quality of installations by service providers meets contract, Ericsson standards, and customer expectations.
- Enforce all Ericsson, Federal, Local, and customer safety guidelines and construction procedures during the Civil Works phase.
- Demonstrate knowledge of worker safety and a safe work environment.
- Site pre-inspections and post-construction audits; visual quality checks on site.
- Prepare regular progress reports and provide status information to project management.
- Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and other suppliers involved in Civil Works.
- Reject incorrect material deliveries; report poor performance and quality on site.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with civil design plans.
- Supervise and coordinate with Service Providers and other disciplines interfacing with Civil Works.
- Lead the team with a focus on quality and results.
- Manage materials: write claims, orders, and returns as needed.
- Maintain construction-specific areas of Site Handler (SOW, NTP, RFDS, safety guidance, QA standards, etc.).
- Handle NTP receipt verification, RFDS submission review and changes, Civils acceptance documents, submission receipt, review and approval; daily Civils progress check and close-out sign-off for Construction Manager level.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project builds (500+ sites).
