Job summary

Phoenix Contact seeks a Senior IMS Specialist II to lead the Internal Management System (IMS) audits across ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. You will guide process owners, drive continual improvement, and ensure alignment with regulatory and company expectations.

This is a highly collaborative, matrixed role without direct reports, with hybrid work arrangements. You will develop IMS documentation, metrics, and training, while supporting organizational readiness for standard revisions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in integrated/quality management systems or related discipline.
• Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001/14001/45001) or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and their application.
• Experience leading internal audits and reporting results in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the IMS internal audit program (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
• Serve as a subject matter expert on management system requirements for leadership and stakeholders.
• Plan, conduct, risk-based audits, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Support external certification, surveillance, and client audits.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving.
