Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Senior IMS Specialist II to lead the internal audit program and advance management system processes. This role drives adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, guides risk-based audits, and fosters continual improvement across functions.

It supports organizational readiness for standard revisions and partners with stakeholders to enhance performance and customer value. The position is hybrid, requiring collaboration across facilities, with focus on governance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in IMS, quality, auditing, operational excellence, or CI.
• Certified Internal Auditor or eligible.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Experience planning, leading, conducting audits in complex environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve IMS internal audit program (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
• Plan, conduct, and oversee risk-based internal audits and corrective actions.
• Support external certification, surveillance audits, and recertification activities.
• Support the implementation of the DCE 9000 standard and revisions.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Develop and maintain IMS documentation, metrics, and governance.
