Job summary

Buchanan Kia in Westminster, MD is seeking an Experienced Import Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain imported vehicles with a focus on quality and efficiency. The role reports to the Service Department and offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary paid weekly.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, routine maintenance, and ensuring work complies with manufacturer guidelines. ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Import Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
• Strong knowledge of imported vehicle systems and manufacturer repair standards.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on imported vehicles using advanced tools and technology.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations.
• Ensure all work is compliant with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide accurate vehicle repair information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technical training related to imported vehicles.
