Job summary

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation is seeking a Sr. Customs Entry Writer to manage U.S. import entries with emphasis on FTZ admissions and compliance. The role requires deep CBP knowledge, tariff classification, and coordination with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant cargo movement.

The position is hybrid in nature with standard hours and remote work on Fridays, reporting to the CHB Manager. Prior CHB experience and FTZ familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as Import Entry Writer in a licensed CHB.
• Experience in logistics or transportation industry.
• International import/export experience.
• FTZ experience preferred but not required (admissions, withdrawals, weekly entries).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTSUS, valuation, tariffs, and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and transmit import entries (CBP Forms 3461, 7501, 7512, AES).
• Ensure timely clearance and meet deadlines.
• Review invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, origin certificates.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare FTZ admissions/withdrawals and FTZ status changes.
• Maintain FTZ records and audit readiness.
• Monitor PGA requirements and CBP requests for information.
