Job summary

Office Ally is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to lead client integrations on a Java-based platform, focusing on XML-driven configuration, business rules, and API connectors. You will own the full implementation lifecycle from scoping to go-live, collaborating with clients across healthcare ecosystems.

You’ll work in a hybrid Concord, California setting, applying Shift Left practices, automated testing, and AI-assisted tooling to deliver reliable, scalable healthcare integrations for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in software development or health tech.
• 8+ years of object-oriented development experience.
• Strong Java, reading, debugging, and extending code.
• Experience with SQL (Oracle preferred) and REST APIs.
• Experience with XML-based configuration and agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead client scoping conversations and define integration scope.
• Configure XML-driven workflow logic and extend platform with Java.
• Build Java code extensions and customizations.
• Own the full client implementation lifecycle from scoping to go-live.
• Implement EDI/837/835 handling within a configuration-driven framework.
• Integrate with REST APIs from payers and clearinghouses.
• Read, troubleshoot, and extend Java code for integrations.
• Apply Shift Left practices and automated testing.
• Build and maintain automated test coverage (Playwright or similar).
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate debugging and mapping.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and ensure long-term stability.
