Sr Implementation Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr Implementation Engineer to deploy and configure virtual solutions remotely. The role primarily focuses on deploying physical servers for virtualization platforms, with strong troubleshooting and networking skills from a server perspective. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, a self-starter, and passionate about high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deploying and configuring hardware solutions for virtual environments.
2. Deploying and configuring virtualization nodes for existing environments.
3. Troubleshooting host network connectivity issues.
4. Collaborating with project management to meet project goals.
5. Documenting final configurations for physical and virtual implementations.

Requirements:

• Experience with virtualization is required.
• Experience with AHV (Acropolis) is a plus.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure environments.
• 5+ years of implementation experience in IT environments.
• Knowledge of data center operations, including racking and cabling to high standards.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and install equipment in server racks (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AHV (Acropolis) is a strong plus.
• Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure solutions like Nutanix is a strong plus.
• Experience working for a VAR or manufacturer in the IT industry is a strong plus.
