Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware design for active implantable medical devices.
• Expertise in analog/digital circuit design and low-power electronics.
• Experience with medical device development lifecycle, design controls, and V&V.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for implantable devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, prototyping, and testing of electrical hardware for implantable devices.
• Architect system-level electrical designs considering ultra-low power and hermetic packaging.
• Perform circuit simulation, schematic capture, PCB oversight, and hardware verification.
• Conduct risk analyses, root-cause investigations, and FMEA to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, systems, clinical, and quality teams.
