Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with business background.

• 8+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC design for low power/implantable applications.
• Experience with FDA regulated design controls and product approval processes.
• Deep understanding of CMOS processes and device models; design trade-offs.
• Experience with ultra-low power design and biomedical signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of high-performance ultra-low power analog/mixed-signal ICs for implantable medical products.
• Involvement in all stages of IC design including architecture, partitioning, layout, verification and documentation.
• Create functional blocks like references, op-amps, ADCs/DACs, oscillators, and switching power circuits.
• Develop digital blocks for timing, control, interfacing and signal processing.
• Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation; collaborate with IC Test for production vectors.
• Consult with clinicians and research teams on technology trends and requirements.
