Job summary

Stardust Equity, the investment arm of Stardust, seeks an investment professional to lead transactions across private markets, overseeing sourcing, due diligence, and execution in a small team. The role owners the full investment lifecycle, from origination to portfolio support, driving outcomes aligned with equity, care, and systems change.

This position requires 10+ years of experience and strong financial modeling, with a track record in private equity, venture capital, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in asset ownership, private equity, venture capital, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead the entire investment process, including evaluating term sheets and doing waterfall analyses.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• High attention to detail in due diligence and deal evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including investment memo writing.
• Self-manager who can juggle multiple responsibilities from conception to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full investment lifecycle from origination to execution.
• Develop market maps, research, and house views.
• Perform due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
• Monitor the portfolio and measure impact with data-driven reporting.
• Mentor colleagues and collaborate across the team.
• Represent Stardust Equity with external groups and conferences.
