Job summary

AskBio Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Senior Research Associate, Immunology, to advance understanding of AAV immunogenicity.

You will conduct analyses on clinical study samples, contribute to assay development and validation, and coordinate clinical sample management as part of our gene therapy programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Immunology, this full-time on-site role emphasizes building skills in cell biology and immunology to drive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years experience; or Master’s with 2+ years; or HS diploma with 9+ years experience
• Advanced lab skills in cell biology, cell culture, immunology, reagent prep, and biosafety/chemical use guidelines
• Familiarity with handling human clinical lab samples and GCP/GLP/GxP lab standards
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
• Strong communication and documentation skills (SOPs, reports)

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assays without supervision
• Develop and validate new clinical assays
• Analyze data and interpret results
• Prepare validation reports and summaries
• Coordinate with Clinical team for sample testing
• Participate in meetings to discuss data and program needs
• Maintain compliant GxP lab environment and GLP/GcLP adherence
• Author SOPs for new assay protocols and equipment
• Maintain laboratory notebooks with proper documentation
• Train and mentor junior staff and contractors
