Job summary

AskBio Inc., a Bayer group entity, seeks a Research Associate II in RTP, NC to support early cardiovascular programs. You will perform a broad range of molecular biology and protein analyses to drive preclinical gene therapy research and data delivery with growing independence.

Ideal candidates have mammalian cell culture experience, qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, and Western blot skills, with a strong emphasis on documentation and reproducible data.

Qualifications

• Molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA isolation and qPCR/ddPCR.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
• Ability to follow established protocols and deliver reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Support design, planning and execution of experiments for protein, RNA and DNA from in vitro/in vivo studies.
• Perform a broad range of techniques independently to support platform and therapeutic programs.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab notebook records and manage sample inventories.
• Contribute to assay/workflow improvements and data analysis.
• Prepare study reports and aid in study protocol development.
• Ensure lab areas are clean, safe and well organized; assist in equipment maintenance.
• Coach peers and share best practices to enable efficient daily workflow.
