Job summary

10a Labs in the United States is seeking a senior specialist for the evening shift to stay hands-on while guiding Junior Specialists. You will review and label content, escalate imminent risks, and coordinate with the Principal to ensure smooth shift handoffs.

The role is fully remote, Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM ET, with 140k–160k salary depending on experience and location. Generous PTO and a 401(k) plan are included, prioritizing wellbeing given exposure to distressing material.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in law enforcement or related work.
• Training in crisis intervention, threat assessment, or violent crime.
• Experience reviewing violent content, credible threats, or violent extremist material.
• Experience mentoring, training, or leading others.
• Comfortable reviewing distressing material on a regular basis.
• Strong judgment on ambiguous, high-stakes cases.
• Clear, confident communication with the Principal, team members, and client stakeholders.
• Able to commit to a fixed evening schedule.

Responsibilities

About the role

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual) based in the United States
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Reliable internet and a quiet, private workspace suitable for reviewing sensitive content

Employment and compensation

• This is a full-time, 12-month role supporting a client engagement, with the possibility of extension.
