Job summary

The successful candidate will bring seasoned immigration experience, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to provide direct feedback.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing (U.S.).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in immigration law.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or training attorneys.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to build trust.
• Ability to give direct, specific feedback.
• Willing to collaborate cross-departmentally.
• In-office presence required in Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma City, OK.
• Spanish is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal strategy guidance to the firm’s immigration practice groups and review case strategy.
• Step in to handle cases directly during attorney absences or high-volume periods.
• Supervise, mentor, and train attorneys and staff; lead recruitment and hiring of attorneys.
• Conduct performance reviews and track key metrics with department leaders.
• Offer detailed, documented feedback to attorneys and staff on approaches and issues.
• Build trust-based client relationships and address concerns with clear communication.
• Identify recurring issues and translate them into training improvements.
• Hold regular meetings to share knowledge across the firm and departments.
• Oversee attorneys in satellite offices and remote roles as needed.
• Stay current on changes in immigration law and policy; advise the team accordingly.
• Participate in executive meetings and report to CEO and COO.
