AMS Staffing Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys, manage deadlines, and prepare petitions for employment-based immigration. This role requires extensive experience in immigration law and professional interaction with clients.

You will help maintain calendars, draft documents, and coordinate with teams to ensure timely filings. After ramp-up, a hybrid-remote schedule applies, with three onsite days weekly.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in employment-based/business immigration law.
• Ability to manage deadlines and client communications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal software.
• Strong professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with attorneys to understand case strategy and petition filing type.
• Communicates with clients to gather information and necessary documents.
• Drafts and circulates correspondence; prepares forms and support letters.
• Tracks client data, deadlines, and contacts accordingly.
• Maintains calendar and docketing systems; reviews task completion.
• Supports meeting departmental deadlines and workflow during busy periods.
• Assists attorneys with preparing employment-based petitions and visas.
• Downloads/uploads immigration documents from clients and databases.
• Participates in creating databases, charts, and reports; data entry.
• Mentors and trains new hires on immigration processes.
