Job description

Boutique immigration practice with high volume of Japanese and Chinese clients is looking for an experienced, skilled Immigration Paralegal/Legal Writer to work directly with clients, most of whom are applying for O-1 visas as well as NIW and EB-1 Green Cards.

Responsibilities:
  1. You will work with the clients to develop their strategies and cases, conducting detailed conversations to discuss requirements and evidence and flesh out a strong plan.
  2. You will educate the clients as to what is required for work visa applications and work with them to gather detailed supporting documentation.
  3. You will need to have frequent correspondence and calls with clients to explain the process, timeline and requirements.
  4. You will draft the entire case after consulting with the attorney, file it and follow up as needed, including responses to RFEs.
  5. You will be able to prioritize, multi-task and manage a considerable caseload.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred), minimum 3 years' experience in preparing and filing O-1, NIW & EB-1 cases. Knowledge of the arts/performing arts/AI is a plus, as is foreign language ability. You love to write!
