Jobot, a well-established NYC immigration-focused firm, seeks an experienced immigration attorney for its Manhattan office. This role carries real caseload responsibility from day one and direct access to firm leadership, with a focus on removal and deportation defense in immigration court, bond hearings, and appeals.
The candidate should have NY bar admission, 5–7 years of immigration experience, and onsite work commitment.
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 per year
Our client is a well-established, multi-practice New York City law firm with deep roots in the immigrant communities it serves. Founded generations ago as an immigration-focused practice, the firm has grown into a full-service operation while never losing sight of its founding mission. Immigration law remains the core of the firm's identity, not a side offering, and the department continues to be led with the same hands-on, generational commitment that built the firm's reputation over more than six decades. The firm operates from a single Manhattan office, steps from the federal buildings where many of its clients' cases are decided. It is recognized regionally for its longevity, community trust, and the personal relationships its attorneys build with the people they represent.
This is an opportunity to practice immigration law inside a firm where the work is genuinely central to the business, not a satellite department competing for resources. Attorneys here carry real caseloads and real responsibility from day one, working directly with firm leadership rather than being buried under layers of management.
