Job summary

Murdoch University seeks a Senior Coordinator Immersive Learning Technologies to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of immersive learning, XR/AI‑XR, to enrich teaching. You will collaborate with academic staff and external partners to optimise learning spaces across the university.

The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress toward them, plus strong experience in learning technology and managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in learning innovation and immersive technologies.
• Demonstrated experience delivering professional learning programs and technology support for inclusive learning.
• Proven ability to collaborate with academic, professional, and external partners to implement immersive technologies in higher education.
• Strong communication, coordination, and service management skills with multiple projects.
• Technical expertise in digital learning environments including XR and AI-XR, plus device management.

Responsibilities

• Lead immersive learning technologies and innovativeland spaces, providing specialist advice to enhance learning outcomes.
• Champion innovation by leading staff development, technology evaluations, monitoring, and reporting.
• Build partnerships with academic staff and external vendors to drive implementation and governance of immersive tech.
