Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Jersey seeks an experienced Radiology Imaging Systems Administrator to support PACS, RIS, and related clinical systems. You will install, monitor, and troubleshoot servers and applications, collaborating with clinical and IT teams to keep imaging workflows efficient.

Responsibilities include coordinating patches, vendor liaison, backups, and ongoing support, while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or certification from a certified computer school.
Minimum five years of systems administration experience.
Ability to prioritize and manage heavy workflow.
Proficient with Windows servers and related IT tools.
Strong communication and collaboration with clinical/IT teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate infrastructure installation, upgrade and support with Mckesson and IT staff.
Liaise between SPUH infrastructure, Clinical/Business IT and Mckesson for patches and upgrades.
Monitor clinical system backups and ensure monitoring tools are functional.
Perform daily systems administration, patches, performance monitoring and backups.
Support hospital applications regarding evaluation, resource needs, installation and ongoing support.
