Boston Scientific seeks a Fellow level R&D Engineer with expertise in imaging physics to lead the acoustic measurement laboratory development. You will implement test systems and methods for evaluating ultrasound transducers and ICE catheters, guiding cross-functional teams across the global network.

You will mentor junior staff, perform transducer studies, and collaborate with SMEs to advance test capabilities in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes leadership and technical excellence.

Formación

• Master’s or PhD degree in relevant engineering or science discipline.
• 10 years (or 8 years with PhD) experience in the field of medical physics / imaging.
• Experience with empirical data collection in medical physics / imaging and understanding of test systems/methodologies.
• Experience with day-to-day operations of a medical physics / imaging laboratory environment.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal direct supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the set-up of test systems and laboratory functions related to intracardiac ultrasound.
• Implement test methods and best practices for data collection and analysis.
• Conduct engineering studies of transducers and device prototypes.
• Train and mentor team members on test systems and methods.
• Collaborate with ultrasound and acoustics SMEs across Boston Scientific’s global network.
