Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Senior Advanced Post Processing Imaging Specialist (FGP) in Radiology to manipulate digital radiographic data, primarily CT and MRI, using specialized software for visualization and quantitative analysis. The role involves accurate transfer of data to and from workstations and updating scheduling and billing in the RIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years relevant imaging experience; CT or MRI technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT or CRT certification required; advanced ARRT registration in CT or MRI.
• Experience with post-processing software and radiology information systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate post-processed imaging software for CT, MRI, Angiography datasets.
• Ensure correct study indications and valid post-processing workflow.
• Perform targeted views, measurements and quality assessments of images.
