Skills Alliance is seeking a Senior Software Developer to shape the architecture behind its medical imaging platform. You will design scalable C++/Qt modules on Linux and integrate MITK, VTK, and OpenGL for real-time rendering.

You will lead architecture reviews and collaborate with R&D, Product, QA and UX to ensure alignment with product goals and roadmap. On-site in Fremont, CA or Austin, TX, with a strong emphasis on robust, maintainable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C++ and Qt for GUI applications.
• Experience with Linux and graphics toolkits.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software modules integrating MITK, VTK and OpenGL.
• Contribute to overall software architecture of a C++/Qt medical imaging platform.
• Lead design and architecture reviews, guiding technical decisions and best practice.
• Work with R&D, Product, QA and UX to align architecture with product goals.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risk, keeping the system robust and maintainable.
• Bring emerging techniques and technologies into the product roadmap.
