Job Summary:

This position is responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting TRA clinical imaging applications, including PACS and RIS, while bringing new and innovative technologies and ideas to the business. The candidate must have knowledge of healthcare technology needs, particularly in radiology, and a history of proactively delivering solutions. The role requires a team-oriented leader who inspires others and supports their growth, with effective interaction with physicians, clinical staff, management, and vendors.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay: $87,163 - $118,208 per year, depending on experience, skills, and abilities.

Location: This is a 100% remote role. TRA provides all necessary work equipment and remote training.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Implement, manage, and support TRA’s clinical imaging applications, including IntelePACS, Clario Worklist, LaurelBridge, and MedIformatix RIS.
  2. Coordinate interfaces between imaging systems, including managing outside resources.
  3. Oversee daily maintenance and monitoring tasks.
  4. Document and control system configurations to ensure system availability.
  5. Introduce new and innovative technologies to the business.
  6. Provide after-hours and on-call IT support.
  7. Monitor ticket queues and work email regularly.

Qualifications:

Education/Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical imaging support services.
  • Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Prior team management experience is desirable.
  • Required: Experience with RIS and PACS, DICOM interfaces, and protocols.
  • Desirable: Experience with HL7 and interface engines.

  • Deep understanding of radiology workflows, especially outpatient clinics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal information.
  • Knowledge of networking, servers, and desktop technologies.
