Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Scientist, Imaging Analytics to join Interventional Oncology (INTO). You will transform oncology trial scans into evidence-based decisions and advance imaging-AI capabilities across the portfolio.

You will bridge data science, clinical development, and external partners, shaping AI methods for response assessment and dose optimization. Positions allow NY/NJ or PA or MA locations.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a quantitative field (CS/ Biomedical/Electrical Eng) or equivalent.
• Hands-on deep learning for medical imaging (segmentation, detection, classification).
• Experience with Python and PyTorch; use of MONAI and common imaging libraries.
• Experience with cloud ML infrastructure and MLOps practices.
• Proven ability to work across data science, clinical development, and external partners.
• Strong publication record and ability to communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop imaging AI and analytics for quantitative endpoints from trial data.
• Lead external collaborations with vendors, CROs, and academic centers.
• Publish and present scientific innovations at major conferences.
• Provide scientific leadership to advance imaging AI in oncology drug development.
