Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of related underwriting or mortgage experience.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage guidelines and overlays.
• Strong regulatory and compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-line quality assurance reviews of high-risk loans for regulatory and policy compliance.
• Analyze data and recommend gap-related solutions to improve quality.
• Stay current on company policies and federal/state regulatory changes.
• Ensure loan origination data integrity in the LOS system.
• Identify suspected fraud and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Manage daily reports and communicate with leadership.
• Transition effectively between independent and team roles.
• Identify red flags and provide practical remediation recommendations.
