Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced IIDR specialist to design, implement, and optimize real-time data replication pipelines across mainframe and midrange environments. You will work on IBM IIDR, IIDR Access Server, and Kafka integrations, ensuring high availability and low latency.

You will mentor teams on CI/CD practices, automate release activities, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet business priorities and production readiness requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience in IBM IIDR (mainframe and midrange).
• Deep knowledge of IIDR on z/OS and IIDR midrange (Linux/Red Hat).
• Strong proficiency in JCL, DB2 for z/OS, RACF, and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience tuning IIDR performance (log readers, buffers, throughput, parallelism).
• Experience with IIDR Access Server and Management Console configuration.

Responsibilities

• Code solutions and unit test to meet acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Design, develop, and modify IIDR architecture components and interfaces.
• Mentor engineers on CI/CD practices and automation.
• Lead end-to-end IIDR pipeline delivery across mainframe and midrange platforms.
• Troubleshoot replication issues to reduce latency and improve availability.
