Job summary

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Ignition Specialist (PLC) to design, develop, integrate, and commission enterprise‑level SCADA and automation systems for industrial projects. You will develop Ignition applications, perform Python/Jython scripting, integrate with PLCs, and support commissioning and optimization while collaborating with customers and field teams.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will bring 8–10+ years of SCADA/industrial automation experience and strong Ignition, Rockwell PLC,

Qualifications

8–10+ years of SCADA/industrial automation experience.
Hands-on Ignition experience.
PLC programming experience, preferably Rockwell.
Strong SQL, Python/Jython, and industrial networking skills.
Data center or mission-critical project experience is a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA applications using Perspective, Vision, UDTs, Tags, Templates, Alarms, Historian, and Reporting.
Perform Python/Jython scripting and SQL database integration.
Integrate Ignition with PLCs using OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, BACnet/IP.
Program and troubleshoot Rockwell ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PlantPAx systems.
Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Collaborate with customers, engineers, and field teams.
