Job summary

Wright Technical Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Ignition implementation across a multi-site manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes strong project management discipline, governance, and collaboration with IT/OT teams to ensure successful data contextualization and site rollout.

Ideal candidates will have 8–10+ years IT/OT PM experience, direct Ignition (or similar SCADA/MES) delivery, and proven ability to manage integrators while maintaining project scope,

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Ignition (Inductive Automation) in manufacturing environments.
• Strong project management discipline across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change control.
• Proven governance experience with integrated project plans, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• 8–10+ years IT/OT PM experience including full lifecycle delivery of manufacturing tech.
• Experience delivering SCADA/MES/historian initiatives in multi-site settings.
• Knowledge of OT/plant-floor tech: PLCs, sensors, historians, data flow from shop floor to analytics.
• Ability to manage system integrators and multiple tech teams to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; translate tech to business reporting.
• Proficiency with PM tools: MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planner.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Ignition implementation across manufacturing sites.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate Ignition dev/QA/prod environments and historian setup.
• Drive data contextualization from shop floor to enterprise platforms.
• Manage external integrators and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with IT/OT teams to align OT and IT roles and governance.
• Plan site rollouts, readiness, cutover, validation, and handoffs.
• Provide executive reporting and clear escalation when needed.
• Drive knowledge transfer and sustainable support post go-live.
