Job summary

CLEAR - Corporate is seeking a Group/Lead Product Manager for Identity & Evidence Verification in New York, NY. You will own the identity verification platform across CLEAR+ and CLEAR1, building scalable proofing, verification, and evidence services for both consumer and enterprise experiences.

You will lead strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional execution, aligning with NIST frameworks and ensuring cost-efficient, high-integrity identity flows in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in identity, fintech, security, or highly regulated environments.
• Strong technical fluency across backend systems, APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Deep understanding of identity proofing, authentication, and fraud systems (e.g., document verification, biometrics)
• Familiarity with standards such as NIST 800-63 or equivalent assurance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and roadmap for CLEAR’s identity and evidence platform across consumer (CLEAR+) and enterprise (CLEAR1) products.
• Build reusable proofing, verification, and evidence services that power all CLEAR surfaces (mobile, web, airport, partner integrations).
• Expand and optimize source verification to improve assurance, reduce cost, and increase coverage.
• Define how identity is established (proofing) vs. continuously evaluated (signals), and evolve both layers over time.
• Drive alignment with NIST frameworks while maintaining flexibility for real-world use cases.
• Decouple identity from individual products—ensuring identity can be created once and leveraged across multiple experiences.
• Develop systems for evidence storage, re-use, and auditability to support network-level advantages.
• Ensure interoperability with emerging standards (e.g., mDoc / ISO 18013-7).
• Drive down cost per proofing/verification through orchestration and intelligent fallback systems.
• Own data integrity, observability, and compliance across all identity systems.
• Partner with engineering, design, operations, legal/compliance, and external partners.
• Translate complex identity and regulatory requirements into clear product direction.
