Job summary

EY is seeking an Identity Verification Engineer to design and operate identity proofing and passwordless systems. You will work with 1Kosmos and Microsoft Verified ID platforms, integrating Entra ID / Azure AD and other IAM tools.

The role covers onboarding, security controls, and cross‑platform integrations. You will collaborate with IAM architects, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders, while supporting hybrid work arrangements and enterprise-scale deployments across the US.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• 2+ years with 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID implementations.
• Experience with passwordless authentication, identity proofing, and biometrics.
• Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Configure document verification, biometrics, liveness, and authentication controls.
• Implement IAL2 proofing per NIST 800-63 guidelines.
• Support onboarding for employees, contractors, vendors, and privileged users.
• Integrate 1Kosmos with Entra ID / Azure AD and IdRamp / CLEAR.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot identity verification issues.
• Develop API-based integrations and configure SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM.
