Job summary

EY seeks an Identity Verification Engineer to design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID, configure biometric verification, and manage identity assurance controls. The role covers integration with Entra ID/Azure AD, IdRamp, CLEAR, and other IAM platforms.

You will support onboarding journeys, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with IAM architects and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable identity solutions across HR systems and IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of IAM experience.
• 2+ years hands-on 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID implementation.
• Experience with identity proofing, passwordless authentication, and biometrics verification.
• Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Configure document verification, biometric authentication, facial recognition, liveness detection, and identity assurance controls.
• Align IAL2-grade proofing with NIST 800-63.
• Onboard employees, contractors, vendors, and privileged users.
• Configure and administer 1Kosmos BlockID and related services.
