Job summary

EY is seeking an Identity Verification Engineer to design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID, and to integrate with Entra ID/Azure AD. You will configure biometric verification, passwordless auth, and SCIM/OAuth-based interfaces, while ensuring security and compliance across enterprise onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, InfoSec, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in IAM.
• 2+ years implementing 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Experience with identity proofing, passwordless authentication, and biometrics.
• Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Configure document verification, biometric authentication, facial recognition, liveness detection, and identity controls.
• Implement IAL2 identity proofing per NIST 800-63 guidelines.
• Support onboarding journeys for employees, contractors, vendors, and privileged users.
• Integrate 1Kosmos with Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Develop API-based integrations for identity verification workflows.
• Configure SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM integrations.
• Ensure security and compliance and participate in architecture reviews.
