Job summary

Gravitee, a 2025 Gartner Leader, is building Gravitee Access Management (AM) and Gamma in a new US-hours role. The Senior Software Engineer will own identity and authorization features across the AM runtime and Gamma surface, with 80% feature delivery and 20% L3/L4 support.

You’ll collaborate with the Europe-based AM team and contribute to secure, scalable auth platforms. You will work on OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and FAPI/CIBA/UMA profiles, plus token lifecycle, MFA, step-up, WebAuthn,

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and running production backend software.
• Strong Java experience with Maven and a reactive stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features end to end from discovery to release.
• Build and maintain identity and authorization features for Gravitee Access Management and Gamma.
• Implement and support OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and FAPI/CIBA/UMA profiles.
• Manage token/session semantics: JWT, JWKS, MFA, WebAuthn, IdP federation.
