Job summary

XMS Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Active Directory (AD) expert with solid knowledge of Microsoft 365/Entra ID to support advanced identity management platforms in enterprise environments, based in Washington, DC.

The candidate will solve problems using PowerShell or similar scripting, and communicate complex ideas to business leaders to align technical solutions with business needs. Responsibilities include AD troubleshooting, deployment of Entra ID Connect and Entra ID in complex

Qualifications

• Experience as SME for Active Directory in large hybrid environments.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to design, troubleshoot, and document identity platforms and MFA/SSO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master new software platforms and frameworks.
• Tier 3 Active Directory troubleshooting including complex replication issues.
• Analyze AD deployments to identify challenges and propose improvements.
• Design, test, and deploy AD and domain controllers.
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Entra ID Connect and Entra ID.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts.
• Develop use cases, standards, roadmaps, and align across teams.
• Independently manage large-scale identity initiatives.
