Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Security Engineer - Identity & Entra to design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra-based identity and access solutions across enterprise environments, promoting Zero Trust principles.

You will drive governance, automation, and secure access patterns while mentoring teammates in a fast-paced team environment. Experience with Entra, PAM, and identity governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Entra in an enterprise environment.
• Strong identity security expertise including Conditional Access, MFA, federation, passwordless, identity governance, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Workflows, RBAC, and PAM concepts.
• Strong PowerShell automation skills for identity lifecycle management, access governance, and operational improvement.
• Experience with Entra ID Governance, SailPoint, or similar identity governance platforms.
• Working knowledge of cloud identity concepts including SAML 2.0, RBAC, access packages, PIM, PAM, and modern authentication controls.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Participation in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise identity and access management capabilities using Microsoft Entra as a core platform.
• Build and strengthen identity security controls, including Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, Access Reviews, and privileged access integrations.
• Advance authentication modernization through Entra integrations, federation, passwordless authentication, and Zero Trust patterns.
• Develop PowerShell automation to improve provisioning, deprovisioning, governance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner across teams to design secure, scalable access models using RBAC and identity-based controls.
• Contribute to evolution of identity security practices, governance, and control effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and peers.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
