Job summary

Lantern seeks an experienced Principal IAM Engineer to own the identity control plane, ensuring secure access to PHI and sensitive systems. You will set identity standards, automate lifecycle workflows, and collaborate with platform, cloud, and service delivery teams.

This is an individual contributor role with growth into leadership as the function scales. You will be a technical authority reporting to the CISO, working in a hybrid setup with at least 3 days on-site in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in identity and access management with principal/staff ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the identity lifecycle end‑to‑end for joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Own access management, including Conditional Access and phishing‑resistant MFA.
• Manage directory and federation across Entra ID, SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth2.
