Job summary

Säzän Group in Seattle, WA, is seeking an experienced ICT Design Engineer to lead and support design for commercial buildings, data centers, and other facilities. The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration and hands-on project execution.

You will work with internal design teams and clients, develop specifications and layouts, perform field inspections, coordinate multi-discipline designs, and assist with project management and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5 to 10 years of ICT design experience in commercial buildings (healthcare, offices, education) preferred; ICT Designer experience with data centers, call centers, trading floors is a plus.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of active network systems.
• Experience with audiovisual and security systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, required; Revit, preferred.
• Certification such as PE, PSP, or CTS, preferred.
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere, collaborate and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Work in close contact with the internal design team and external clients and consultants.
• Develop specifications, system narratives and layouts for varied projects.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to determine conditions and coordinate new work.
• Assist senior engineers in due diligence, feasibility studies and technical reports.
• Coordinate with other trades and ensure completeness of design.
• Lead or participate in project coordination meetings and present status updates.
• Oversee testing, commissioning activities and responses to RFIs, change orders and addenda.
• Assist with bid analysis and cost estimating across projects.
