Job summary

XRbentsh is seeking an experienced ICSS Lead to support an energy company on its production facilities in Angola. You will act as the on-site technical authority for integrated control and safety systems, from design through startup.

You will oversee the ICSS architecture (DCS, SIS, F&G), ensure industrial cybersecurity in line with IEC 62443, validate instrumentation choices, and lead the on-site ICSS team, including FAT/EFAT and commissioning support, with strict adherence to HSE culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in control and safety systems, including several years as a lead on Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience in commissioning and start up of production facilities.
• Strong command of IEC 61511 and good knowledge of industrial cybersecurity.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Professional English is essential, Portuguese is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ICSS architecture (DCS, SIS, F&G) and ensure its consistency with instrumentation.
• Ensure the industrial cybersecurity of control systems in line with IEC 62443.
• Validate instrumentation choices and steer EPC engineering and subcontractors.
• Lead and coordinate the ICSS team on site.
• Conduct FAT and EFAT at vendor premises, supervise loop testing and support commissioning.
• Manage operational start up with strict adherence to HSE culture.
