Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. in Hayward seeks a senior Lab Chemist III (ICPMS Clean Room Chemist III) to oversee ICPMS laboratory operations, provide technical leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with business objectives.

This role serves as the primary technical resource, mentoring staff and partnering with engineering and production to ensure laboratory excellence and data-driven decision making. We offer day or swing shift options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years leading laboratory operations and teams.
• Strong ICPMS instrumentation knowledge and QA/QC focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational leadership for the ICPMS laboratory.
• Supervise daily workflow, staffing priorities, and shift execution.
• Monitor lab performance metrics, instrument health, and trends.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for quality or equipment issues.
• Develop SOPs, training, and best practices; support cross-functional teams.
