Job summary

Apple in California is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to contribute to cloud services infrastructure, designing and implementing core iCloud components with an emphasis on privacy and reliability.

You will work across client-server architectures and low-level system components (C/Objective-C, libdispatch, POSIX APIs), collaborating with CloudKit and cryptography teams to deliver features for FaceTime, iCloud Drive, Photos, and Backup, while maintaining strong privacy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS).
• Experience with client-server architectures and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree, or above, in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement key components of the iCloud platform.
• Collaborate with CloudKit and other teams on server components.
• Develop low-level and system-level capabilities with strong privacy guarantees.
