Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help build the next generation of cloud services infrastructure. You will design and implement key components of the iCloud platform, integrating powerful new capabilities deep into the core of Apple's operating systems.

Your work will enable new applications and scale existing ones, including iCloud Drive, Photos, Notes, and more, while upholding strong privacy guarantees for users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Obj-C and/or Swift.
• Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.).
• Experience in building system-level frameworks and APIs.
• Excellent communication.
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CloudKit components and on-device services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CloudKit with iCloud services.
• Focus on privacy, security, reliability, and performance in distributed systems.
