Job summary

Apple Inc. in San Francisco seeks an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the development of the next generation of cloud services infrastructure. You will work on the iCloud platform, building secure, private cloud components and enabling features for FaceTime, iCloud Drive, Photos, and backups.

You’ll collaborate with teams across cryptography, privacy, and server components, using C/Objective-C and Swift to deliver scalable, reliable software that emphasizes user privacy.

Qualifications

• Software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.).
• Experience in building system-level frameworks and APIs.
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with adopters to craft clear APIs.
• Work with the network and file system stacks to build performant daemons.
• Work with our server counterparts to design scalable features and protocols.
• Implement core components of the cryptographic protection of cloud data.
