Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Two years ice floor and operations experience preferred; ice making courses are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain facility ice floor for hockey practices, games, and other ice events.
• Assist in installation of ice, including freezing floor, painting lines/logos, and building up the ice sheet.
• Operate and maintain ice-resurfacer and ice-edger.
• Repair and build ice around goals and other areas that lose ice.
• Monitor temperature and humidity, maintain glass and dasher walls.
• Oversee and direct staff involved in ice installation and maintenance.
• Respond to alarms from building automation and life safety systems.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
