Job summary

SOCOTEC US is seeking ICC Special Inspectors to perform field inspections of structures across Arizona. The role involves documenting findings, communicating with engineers and contractors, and training junior inspectors.

Based in Phoenix, you will travel to sites throughout the state, contributing to high-performance building projects. The ideal candidate holds ICC certification for reinforced concrete, masonry, and post-tensioning, with ACI Field Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• ICC certification for reinforced concrete required; masonry and post tension certifications a plus.
• ACI Field Certification enhances eligibility.
• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in engineering/construction management a bonus.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field a bonus.
• CWI Certification a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of various structures.
• Maintain records and write inspection reports.
• Communicate with engineers, contractors and managers.
• Train apprentice inspectors.
