Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Senior Microelectronics Applications Engineer to support customer engagements, develop product documentation, and bridge R&D with field teams. This remote-friendly role focuses on IC design, characterization, and thorough technical content.

You will create datasheets for ASIC and standard products, run characterization across voltage/temperature, and provide pre-sales and post-sales support. Travel up to 10-20% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IC applications engineering, design engineering, or related technical role.
• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering; MS preferred.
• Proven track record of developing technical datasheets and application documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed technical specifications and characterization data.
• Develop datasheets for ASIC and standard product offerings.
• Document electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, and package information.
• Produce application notes, design guides, and reference designs.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Analyze silicon data and validate performance across process, voltage, and temperature corners.
