LightEdge Solutions is seeking an experienced IBMi SR Engineer in Minnesota to design, implement, and support IBM i platforms, including high-availability and disaster recovery. The role requires hands-on Power environment expertise and extensive BRMS/FSFC knowledge.

You will maintain OS upgrades, configure backups, and provide Tier-3 support to operations and applications teams. Strong communication in a large enterprise environment is essential.

Qualificações

• Ten or more years hands-on IBM Power environment experience.
• Experience with IBM Power iSeries platforms and partitions.
• Experience with BRMS, FSFC, and VTL backups.
• Experience with MIMIX or iTera replication and Power HA.
• TCP/IP networking experience.
• Ability to support 24/7 on-call and basic hardware maintenance.
• Strong communication in a large enterprise environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and support IBM i platform.
• Maintain OS upgrades and PTF installations.
• Manage BRMS-driven backups and disaster recovery.
• Configure and deploy MIMIX replication or similar.
• Support HA with iTERA, PowerHA.
• Provide Tier-3 support to operations and apps teams.
• Work with NOC and vendor support to resolve issues.
• Interface with vendors via HMC and Global support.
