Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and sustain complex enterprise software systems, with deep IBM iSeries and RPG expertise. The role emphasizes technical leadership, complex issue resolution, and modernization across business processes and integrations.

You will guide multiple engineering teams, influence technical direction, and apply AI-driven practices to improve reliability and performance in critical inventory and commercial workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise-scale software solutions.
• 6+ years of experience with IBM i systems and RPG software development.
• 6+ years of experience with scripting/programming languages for automation and integration.
• 4+ years of experience in complex integrations and critical systems.
• 3+ years of experience with high-profile enterprise accounts.
• Experience with AI technologies for SDLC and operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, development, testing, documentation, and support of complex software systems.
• Drive RPG development, modernization, and cross-system integrations across platforms.
• Provide Level 3 triage and incident resolution for critical production systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Define strategic technology direction and contribute to long-term roadmaps.
