Job summary

Fuse3 Solutions is seeking a Senior Application Developer for an on-site role in Oklahoma City. You will design, develop, and maintain internal business apps on IBM i, touching finance, distribution, inventory, and order processing, while ensuring SDLC adherence and performance improvements.

You will work closely with business users and IT teammates to translate requirements into robust solutions, modernizing where appropriate and staying current with tools and best practices to keep critical

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on development experience in an IBM i environment.
Strong experience with RPG IV, ILE, or free-form RPG.
CL and embedded SQL experience.
DB2 on IBM i experience.
Advanced SQL skills including joins and performance-focused queries.
Experience supporting enterprise business systems such as order entry, inventory, AP, AR, GL, or distribution.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and support internal business applications on the IBM i platform.
Write, modify, test, and maintain code following SDLC and internal standards.
Work closely with business users and IT teammates to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Perform system and application analysis to improve performance and reliability.
Stay current on tools, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.
