Job summary

HTI, supporting JTEKT North America, seeks a Senior Quality Systems Specialist for its Piedmont, SC facility. You will own the internal audit program, manage IATF 16949 compliance, and oversee document control and CAPA tracking to ensure quality across the plant.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, leadership of cross-functional teams, and maintaining current QMS documentation. Strong hands-on auditing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on IATF internal audits required.
• Knowledge of document control and change management.
• Experience with CAPA tracking and RCA.
• Auditing, certification, or customer audits experience.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the facility's internal audit program across processes and shifts.
• Train and support internal auditors.
• Coordinate readiness for IATF 16949 certification, surveillance, audits.
• Provide on-site support during external audits and respond to findings.
• Drive CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective-action closure.
• Maintain QMS documentation, revisions, and access controls.
• Serve as key contact for registrars and customer auditors.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Production to ensure QMS requirements are followed.
